BIOGRAPHY

Morgan Kelso is a young, classical singer and up-and-coming music educator from Northern Virginia.

She's currently a rising juniour at Christopher Newport University, working towards her Bachelor's of Music degree in Choral Music Education & Vocal Performance.

Morgan has many years of experience performing on-stage in musical theatre & opera productions, in addition to classical solo, collegiate a capella, and choral ensemble performances. She has performed with The Herndon Wind Ensemble, OperaCNU, The Newport Pearls, CNU Chamber Choir, and is a regular soloist at Burke United Methodist Church.

Additionally, Morgan has taught students of all ages (PreK - High School), in the area of music as well as core subjects. She has volunteered at various summer camps and music outreach programs over the past several years.

After graduating from CNU, she plans to be an elementary general music teacher or a middle school choral director, while also continuing to perform across the Commonwealth.
